Admission is free and no booking is needed: you come in from Viale Diana and stay as long as you like.

The showground is inside Parco della Favorita, on Viale Diana: about 15 minutes from the centre of Palermo and 40 from Punta Raisi airport.

By car

Viale Diana

From the ring road, take the Parco della Favorita exit. Follow the signs for the Campo ostacoli: the entrance is on the Viale Diana side.

By bus

City lines

AMAT line 806 — nearest stop about a 5-minute walk from the entrance. AMAT lines 101 and 107 stop at Piazza Leoni.

    Free, next to the entrance. It fills up on finals days: arrive an hour early.

    Free, a 10-minute walk.

Around the arena there is a small town: exhibitors, refreshments, spaces for children and the facilities that make the day comfortable for everyone.

A typical day

  • Morning
    Competition from 09:00: the warm-up arena is the most surprising part for anyone new to the sport.
  • Lunch
    Street food at the village or a stop at the Capo market, fifteen minutes away.
  • Afternoon
    Feature classes and prize-givings, with the grandstand at its fullest.
  • Evening
    An aperitivo in Mondello or a stroll in the city centre.

Serve il biglietto?

No. L’ingresso alla manifestazione è libero tutti i giorni e non serve prenotare. I posti in tribuna sono liberi fino a esaurimento.

Posso portare il cane?

Sì, al guinzaglio e nelle aree pubbliche. Per la sicurezza dei cavalli non è consentito avvicinarsi con animali al campo prova e alle scuderie.

Si possono fare fotografie?

Sì, per uso personale. Per riprese professionali, droni o servizi giornalistici serve l’accredito dall’Area stampa.

C’è un parcheggio e quanto costa?

Il parcheggio nell’area evento e nei viali del parco è gratuito. Nelle giornate di finale conviene arrivare con un’ora di anticipo.

È adatto ai bambini?

Molto. Il village è pensato anche per le famiglie e i passeggini circolano senza problemi. Nei giorni di maggiore afflusso è previsto il battesimo della sella.

Cosa succede se piove?

Le gare si svolgono regolarmente salvo condizioni che compromettano la sicurezza. Eventuali variazioni vengono comunicate sul sito e sui canali social.

Posso avvicinarmi ai cavalli?

Il campo prova è visibile al pubblico da bordo recinzione. Scuderie e aree di lavoro restano riservate a cavalieri e personale.

Ci sono bancomat o si paga con carta?

I punti ristoro e gli espositori accettano generalmente pagamenti elettronici. Il bancomat più vicino è fuori dal parco.
